This is Dr. Harry Bollback, Co-Founder of a worldwide ministry called WORD OF LIFE.

He is 93 years young & he is still preaching  BECAUSE the Lord has given him purpose & faith & strength!

Dr. Harry Bollback reminds me of a Bible character named Caleb.

This is what Caleb said when he was 85 years old & facing physically giant warriors in the Promised Land:

“… and now behold, I am 85 years old today. I am still as strong today as I was in the day Moses sent me; as my strength was then, so my strength is now, for war and for going out and coming in. Now then, give me this hill country about which the Lord spoke on that day, for you heard on that day that Anakim were there, with great fortified cities; perhaps the Lord will be with me, and I shall drive them out as the Lord has spoken.”
(Joshua 14:10B – 12)

How old are you?

Biblically, is there such a thing as retirement when you still have God-given purpose, faith & strength? I don’t think so.

Keep serving the Lord as He gives you purpose & faith & strength!

And remember: Your GOD is bigger than your MINISTRY MOUNTAIN!

Man, that’s a lot of boats in stock! And to think that for each vessel the Boat Dealership has to keep record of things like: Date Acquired; Cost to acquire; Features; Suggested Retail Price etc.
The Company software must track it all!

Ever since Adam and Eve sinned in the garden, mankind has been building an immense inventory of sins!

But God the Son, the Final Judge, has successfully been keeping track; every single sin of every single person who dies without Jesus Christ as Saviour will face fair & just punishment in a real Hell.

Revelation 20:12 –
“And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead  were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds.”

And next, Revelation 20:13 –
“… and the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds.”

Christ the Judge will have books which have recorded all of the sins of all of the persons who are not redeemed;  and each of these lost persons will appear before Christ the Judge for sentencing.

Not that Jesus will need the books to know anything; He is omniscient … rather, the books will have the records available for any individuals who have the audacity to argue the sentence which they will receive from Christ.

The twice repeated phrase … “according to their deeds” clearly reveals that there will be degrees of punishment in Hell! Hell is all bad but it will be worse for some than for others!

Of course this described future judgment is not for any born-again believer in Jesus Christ.

All of our sins have been forgiven and forgotten because of the Lord Jesus’ blood sacrifice.

But none of us should hoard  Christ’s offered forgiveness for ourselves; instead we should tell as many lost persons as possible that their particular inventoried stock pile of sins can be eliminated!

Too often alcohol masquerades as a help but actually it usually makes things worse.

Drunkenness has ruined marriages, killed motorists, stolen virginity, diseased human body organs, destroyed friendships, loosened tongues, ended employments, heightened depressions, caused murders & suicides.

But ALL THAT is never printed on the labels of beer & wine bottles!

In Proverbs 20:1 our merciful God warns us:

“Wine is a mocker, strong drink a brawler, and whoever is intoxicated by it is not wise.”

You may say: “Not everyone who takes a drink becomes drunk.”

I agree. But it’s also true that no one gets drunk who refuses a drink!

This crashed airplane was running illegal street drugs from South America to Florida back in the 1970s.

Back then it was rather common place for drug-running planes to crash near the quaint Bahamian island of Spanish Wells, which is located 50 miles south of Florida.

There is a biblical principle.
It is found in the Old Testament Book of Numbers.

” … you have sinned against the Lord, and be sure your sin will find you out.”  (Numbers 32:23)

Sooner or later unconfessed sin will be discovered.
At times God will even crash airplanes to see to it!

These two super-cute big brothers obviously are thrilled to meet their new little baby brother!

Scripture calls new converts to Christ “babes”.

“Therefore, putting aside all malice and guile and hypocrisy and envy and all slander, like newborn babes, long before the pure milk of the word, that by it you may grow in respect to salvation …”.  (1 Peter 2:1-2)

May we who are older in Christ be as thrilled as heaven is, with new babes in Christ; the babes whom we lead to saving faith in the Saviour and the babes who integrate into our local assembly!

All babies need lots of nurture and love. What a true privilege and pleasure to give such!
