You’re As Holy As You Want To Be
I think that it was A. W. Tozer who said: “Every man is as holy as he really wants to be.”In our position before God we are given all of Christ’s holiness. But in our daily experience holiness is a choice which we continually are making.
Choose holiness even when it is difficult, inconvenient, odd, costly, misunderstood, extra work, unseen, unpopular & radical. Choose holiness. It’s the exquisite road less traveled.
Of course our Lord Jesus is ever perfect holiness, but He chose holiness at every turn of his earthly ministry. And His choices of holiness we’re very costly!
As The Lord Jesus’ follower you are to choose personal holiness. This is a choice that only you can make moment to moment to moment.
This bird got water because it wanted it!
“As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance, but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written, you shall be holy for I am holy.” (1 Peter:1:14-16)
COLORING OUTSIDE THE LINES
“Therefore the Law has become our tutor to lead us to Christ, so that we may be justified by faith.” – Galatians 3:24
Look closely at this picture. The clear instruction has revealed the rebelliousness of some customers’ hearts.
We should thank the Giver of a righteous Law; we should praise our revealing God who has provided a tutor to lead us by our spiritually bankrupt hand to the lord Jesus and his Cross.
Christ perfectly kept all of the Law and His righteousness becomes ours when we trust Him alone for salvation. (2 Corinthians 5:21)
The Law’s purpose is to prove that we can’t color inside the lines!

Can A Leopard Change Its Spots?
Revelation 22:11 is jolting truth.”Let the one who does wrong, still do wrong; and let the one who is filthy, still be filthy; and let the one who is righteous, still practice righteousness; and let the one who is holy, still keep himself holy.”
Hell will not only be hot & dark & solitary confinement; it will also be everlasting vile thoughts, words & deeds. An unending sentence of selfish & disgusting rebellion against God which never satisfies or rewards.Everyone needs a Saviour. Before exiting earth!

All You Can’t Eat
I made a startling discovery. It was when I was tending to my garbage.
Look what is printed on my yellow trash can!
Do people really have to be warned not to eat smelly garbage? Yes, literally & figuratively!
“Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, what ever is of good repute (reputation), if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things.” Philippians 4:8
Don’t eat garbage thoughts. They are sometimes dished up by our carnal friends, our lost family, our TV, our music, our devices.
You are what you eat.

The Devil’s Had It Long Enough
Recently I was talking with other pastors about money given to a ministry which was sourced from an enterprise which the church cannot not endorse. Legalized gambling was the case in point.My friend, Pastor Roland Bryan, remembered that D.L. Moody faced a similar situation. One of his ushers came to him asking if a man could give money to the the ministry which the man admitted that he had gained by an unrighteousness means. Mr. Moody replied: “Yes, we’ll accept the offering. The devil’s had the money long enough. It’s time the Lord had it.”
