The bodily resurrection of our Saviour is one of the banner distinctives of biblical Christianity.
No other world religion claims that its founder is alive again after physical death.
Doubting Thomas punctuates the striking patient grace of the Lord Jesus. Thomas wouldn’t believe until he saw & touched the out-of-tomb Jesus. The fact that the King of Kings let him touch him so that Thomas would believe says more about Christ’s love than it does about Thomas’ doubt.
Know that Jesus loves you in your doubt. Better: Choose the promised blessing of believing without seeing & touching.
