Regrets

Hot Air Balloon4 Porta-Potties can really put a damper on a hot air balloon ride.
Fixating on your regrets will really trip up your walk with Christ.

“Brethren,I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”
(Philippians 3:13-14)

If you have regrets, you are not alone. We all do.
After confessing your sins, accept God’s forgiveness. (1 John 1:9) And go forward with confidence and joy.

Cut loose your Porta-Potties. Enjoy the hot air balloon ride with Jesus!

IT’S NOT ALWAYS OBVIOUS

Safety ConesThe Bible warns us about spending a lot of time with some people.
“Do not be deceived: bad company corrupts good morals.”  (1 Corinthians 15:33)

A good apple which is long enough with bad apples in the same barrel, goes bad.
Or …
“Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.”  (Matthew 7:6)

The boy in the picture is wearing construction cones. These cones tell motorists to steer clear of construction zones.

Often “bad company” people and haters of holy, Gospel truth aren’t as clearly marked!
Ask the Lord for discernment. He will show you when it’s time to steer around dangerous people.

THE EYE IN THE SKY

Eye in the skyThis cloud formation is rather amazing. Reminds me of 2 Chronicles 16:9A:
“For the eyes of the Lord move to & fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His.”

Your God is everywhere. And, in love, His eye is always on you.

Make sure that your heart is 100% loyal to your Saviour. Then He will strongly support you. And His ever-watchful eye will reassure you where ever you are.

TAKE ATTENDANCE!

DogsEver since New Testament times bad guys have snuck into local churches. Maybe you had to look twice to see the fox?

Jude 4: “For certain persons have crept in unnoticed, those who are long before hand marked out for this condemnation, ungodly persons who turn the grace of our God into licentiousness (gross immorality) and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.”

We have to “regularly take attendance” to spot these guys who have snack in denying the Lordship of Christ!

He is Lord. He is Lord. He is risen from the dead and he is Lord. When that is denied, gross immorality is right around the corner!
