Marriage The Maker’s Way: Wives
Today Pastor Elliott begins a 4 part preaching series called Marriage the Maker’s Way.  All 4 sermons of this series will be based on the scripture passage of Ephesians 5:22-33. The first message is titled “Wives”.

Ministry Matters

Monday Night Prayer
The meeting will be held tomorrow, Monday, November 11th at 6:30pm in the Choir Room.
 
Deacon Nominations
We will need 7 men to be nominated to serve beginning in January 2020. Nomination forms are in the foyer. CBC members have by the end of today to submit nomination forms to the Pastoral Board. Please speak with anyone you wish to nominate to confirm their willingness to serve. – The Pastoral Board
 
CBC Balcony Announcement
The policy that minors (under the age of 18) are not permitted to sit in the balcony unaccompanied by their parents/guardian will be enforced with effect today.  We ask for the cooperation of all members in ensuring that this policy is enforced.
 
CCC Movie Night
The Christian Counselling Centre invites you to their Movie Night at the centre where they’ll be showing “Unconditional” on Thursday, Nov. 21st at 6pm. Light refreshments will be served. Donations are welcomed.
 
A Day to Fast & Pray
This Wednesday, November 13th is the scheduled monthly day for the CBC family to spend time in fasting & prayer during the day. You are encouraged to participate if you are able. 
 
Boxing Day Luncheon
Plan to assist with making the  luncheon on Thursday, December 26th, 12:00 noon – 3:00pm a huge success, by donating and preparing food items or drinks, volunteering your time or donating funds. 
Please be in prayer that our guests would really feel the love of the Triune God and all involved would be blessed. Complete a form and put it in the offering bag or call or e-mail the church’s office.  Flyers are in the foyer, for those who do not have one.  Thank you, to all who have turned in their form already.
 
Attendance Pew Pads
• For visitors please completely fill out the Visitors pad. If you have been a regular visitor you only have to fill in your name unless there is further info you need/want to provide.
 • For members/regular attenders please use the Members pads. You only need to write your name in the lower section. If you need/want to provide additional info then use the upper section.
 
Collect Your Family Photos!
If you brought in a family photos for the Marriage & Family week please be sure to pick them up from the church office.
 
Believer’s Baptism
We are still accepting candidates for the upcoming baptism service at Montagu Beach on Sunday, Nov. 24th at 3:00pm. If you have not yet been baptised, and would like to be, please contact the church office to note your desire to be a part of this special event.
 
Men’s Fraternity
The fraternity study has resumed at 8:00am on Saturdays with the 2nd book in the series “Winning at Work & Home” The  book is available for purchase from the church office or the class for $10. 
 
Operation InAsMuch
The 60 bags given over the past week brings the total to 90,577. There is a need for financial support to help replenish the shelves. We are continually grateful to everyone for your support.
