Refiner’s Fire Series
Our current preaching series through the Book of 1 Peter is called “REFINER’S FIRE – Living in Victory While Facing Opposition” Sometimes that opposition sleeps in the marital bed beside you! Today’s sermon is “Living with an Unpersuaded Husband”. It is based on 1 Peter 3:1-6.

Ministry Matters
The Deacon Board is pleased to announce that parking lot surveillance has been restarted, and is asking for volunteers to work on a rotation basis to help ensure continued protection for the premises. A sign-up sheet will be available in the foyer following the service for those willing to serve. Your involvement is needed and would be appreciated. Any questions concerning the ministry may be directed to Paul Lowe or Kirk Deleveaux

2018 Faith Promise Program
The program begins today! Use the form included in today’s bulletin to note the weekly gift you are trusting God to supply. Keep the bottom portion as your reminder.
 
2018 Missions Conference
Our annual conference is coming April 13th-17th. This year’s theme: “The World Needs You – No Matter Your Age!” Mark the dates on your calendar & plan now on attending the exciting meetings. More details coming next week.
 
Usher Ministry Note
We are seeking both men & women to join the Ushers team. Please contact the church office to note your desire to serve in this ministry.
 
Jr. Church
Jr. Church continues today during the 11:00am service. The class for 3-5 year olds will be held in the Nursery beginning at 11:00am. The 6-11 year olds will be dismissed from the service at 11:15am (during the greeting time) to meet upstairs in the Jr. Dept. Parents are asked to escort them to the classroom to be registered. All children must be picked up by a parent/guardian as they will not be released otherwise.
 
Baptism Service
The next water baptism is planned for Sunday, Feb. 25th in the 8:00am & 11:00am services. If you desire to follow your Lord’s command to be baptized please call the church office at 326-0800 to confirm your desire to participate.
 
Monthly Prayer Meeting
The next prayer meeting will be on Wed., Feb. 14th from 12:00-2:00pm in the Choir Room. Come & join in prayer for the church, our community & the world.
 
Operation InAsMuch
The 56 bags given over the past week brings the total to 85,527. Thank you for your continued support of this ministry to the needy in our community!!
 
Echoes of Calvary
Tune in to the weekly radio program on Sundays @ 7:30am on AM1540. Pastor Elliott is doing a verse-by-verse preaching series from the book of Joel.

Youth Ministry
DR Mission Trip • July 14-21
If you are interested in the trip to the Dominican Republic mission there will be a meeting next Sunday at 10:30AM under the mezzanine for parents and teens.
 
Ignition
There will not be regular Ignition this week due to the Apologetics Conference.  We encourage you to attend the night’s session from 7:00 to 9:00pm. If you would like to attend please contact Pastor Nicholas for further details.
