Ministry Matters
Crosstrainers
This new Youth program for ages 5-18 kicks off on Tuesday, Sept. 12th at 6:00pm. Required leader training for current leaders & interested persons will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 5th at 6:00pm in the EWA. For more info please talk with Pastor Nicholas.
 
Ushers Update
All ushers & prospective ushers are asked to meet in the front center pews immediately following the 11:00am service.
 
New Precept Study
Classes in the “Revelation Precept Study – Behold, Jesus Is Coming” begin Wednesday, September 6th. Books can be purchased from the church office at the cost of $10.00.
 
Wednesday Ladies Group
The ladies resume meeting for their study & fellowship time this Wed., Sept. 6th at 10:30am. All ladies are invited!
 
Membership Classes
A special 4-week class series will be offered on Wednesday nights, September 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th from 6:30-8:30pm.
 
All who are involved in ministry and have not taken the classes are urged to do so. Interested persons are encouraged to call the church office or speak with Pastor Jerry Sawyer to sign up.
 
Prayer for Our Families
This special time for praying for our church families is available Monday to Friday during church office hours (8:45am-4:45pm). Simply come to the choir room and spend some time praying for families on the list then tick the names off so the next prayer warrior can continue from where you finished.
Monthly Prayer Meeting
The next monthly meeting is this Wednesday, Sept 13th.
Come in to the choir room between 12:00 & 2:00pm and spend as long as you can in prayer (quietly or spoken).
 
CCC Trunk Sale
The Christian Counselling Centre will be having a Trunk Sale on Sat., October 28th and we need your help.
We are asking for household items and clothing etc., that is in good condition to help us make this trunk sale a success. Please make sure the items are clean and not soiled or broken.
 
All items can be dropped off at The Centre any weekday between 9:00am & 5:00pm and marked for Trunk Sale.
We also ask that you come out and support this fund raiser. We will have chicken, macaroni and soft drinks on sale. Looking forward to your support.

CBC Women’s Retreat!!!
Ladies! Spend a luxurious weekend at Meliá Nassau Beach Resort, Nov. 3rd-5th, with the fabulous ladies of Calvary Bible Church.
 
Cost: $420.00 per person, double occupancy; $390.00 per person, triple occupancy. Register & pay the $100 deposit ASAP as the confirmation deadline with the resort is fast approaching.
 
Operation InAsMuch

Youth Ministry
New Ministry Equipment
The youth ministry is looking to get some new equipment such as bumper balls, board games and other equipment.  If you can help either financially or donate some board games please let Pastor Nicholas know or you can drop an envelope in the offering bag labelled “Youth”.
 
Hawaiian Luau
We will be having a special parents/students Luau event on Friday, September 8th. This will be a  time of fun, food, and fellowship with our parents and students. We will also be talking about the plans for the upcoming year. All parents are expected to attend.
