THE FERTILIZER FOR ANXIETY

Philippians 4:6 –
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made
known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
When we are anxious we are not praying. And failure to pray is often symptomatic of a failure to believe in God’s ability and love and goodness and control.
The fertilizer for anxiety is unbelief demonstrated by prayerlessness. Then fertilizer for peace is belief demonstrated through prayer.
Which do you want to grow: anxiety or peace?
Fertilize accordingly!

WHAT SHALL I WEAR TODAY?

Fear and faith will never live together. Where there is one the other will not be.

Proverbs 12:25 -“Anxiety in the heart of a man weighs it down, but a good word makes it glad.”

The good word of course are all the promises of Sacred Scripture!

Did you know that there are 365 Bible verses that command us not to fear? That’s one for each day of the year, isn’t it?

Put on the right clothes each morning! The choice is fully yours.

MINISTRY MOUNTAINS

This is Dr. Harry Bollback, Co-Founder of a worldwide ministry called WORD OF LIFE.

He is 93 years young & he is still preaching  BECAUSE the Lord has given him purpose & faith & strength!

Dr. Harry Bollback reminds me of a Bible character named Caleb.

This is what Caleb said when he was 85 years old & facing physically giant warriors in the Promised Land:

“… and now behold, I am 85 years old today. I am still as strong today as I was in the day Moses sent me; as my strength was then, so my strength is now, for war and for going out and coming in. Now then, give me this hill country about which the Lord spoke on that day, for you heard on that day that Anakim were there, with great fortified cities; perhaps the Lord will be with me, and I shall drive them out as the Lord has spoken.”
(Joshua 14:10B – 12)

How old are you?

Biblically, is there such a thing as retirement when you still have God-given purpose, faith & strength? I don’t think so.

Keep serving the Lord as He gives you purpose & faith & strength!

And remember: Your GOD is bigger than your MINISTRY MOUNTAIN!

I CAN’T BELIEVE I JUST DID THAT!

Joanna & Bull RunSometimes risky faith in Jesus Christ leaves us in places of amazement and exhilaration.

That’s the look on our daughter Joanna’s face.

She has been in Spain this summer working at camp. And in this pic she has just been a part of a “running with the bulls” event.

(Did her traveler’s insurance cover that?)

“Running with the Bulls”. That had to require faith to “seize the moment”.

What is your Lord calling you to do that requires big faith in Him?

Do it! Be amazed. Be exhilarated.

“And Peter answered Him and said, Lord, ‘if it is you, command me to come to you on the water.’
And He said, ‘Come!’
And Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water and came toward Jesus.’ “
                                                (Matthew 14:28-29)
