GET TO THE POINT

I’m all for living a credible and godly life in front of the lost people who are around me.

But that is not complete evangelism.

If we never get around to simply asking the lost person if he or she would like to transfer their trust to Jesus alone for personal salvation, we have failed to do the job.

Evangelism is telling and asking!

Consider these three examples of this from the Gospel of John:

1. Andrew: “One of the two who heard John speak, and followed Him (Jesus), was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother. He found first his own brother Simon, and said to him, ‘we have found the Messiah’ (which translated means Christ). He brought him to Jesus.”

(John 1:40-42A)

2. The Samaritan Woman at the Well: “So the woman left her waterpot, and went into the city, and said to the men, ‘Come, see a man who told me all the things that I have done; this is not the Christ, is it?’ ”

(John 4:28-29)

3. Jesus: (Speaking to his disciples just before he went to the Cross) : “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father , but through Me.”

Andrew, the woman at the well and the Lord Jesus Himself all got to the point. They landed the plane.

Is it time for you to land the plane too with that person who you have been trying to win to Christ?

I LOVE MY THIN WINDOWS

Smiling KidsMy office has thin window panes. I love it because I can hear what’s going on in the church parking lot.
This morning I heard the singing voice of a very young child.
He was in enthusiastically singing “I love to tell the story of Jesus and his love”.
I clear example of a brand-new heart at a very young age.
Do you and I love to tell the story? When did we last do so?
What’s in our insides comes out to the outside.
Ephesians 5:18-19:
” … be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord …”

NIGHT FISHING

NYC Skyline What a difference 59 years make!
This was the NYC skyline Easter weekend 1956.
We are now in the end times. Our religious freedoms are steadily declining.
We must increasingly be about Heaven’s business!
Christian, you are Christ’s ambassador!
Let down your net for a catch! (Luke 5:1-8)
It won’t be fishing season forever!
Jesus made this clear when He said:
“As long as it is day, we must do the work of Him who sent Me. Night is coming, when no one can work.” (John 9:4)
Pray daily for your 5. For 30 days!

You May Be It!

You May Be It
What if you are the only born-again Christian that 20 people lost people will interact with tomorrow? It’s quite possible; and because it is we should approach each day as being “Game On!”

Every day we need to walk the walk.

Every day’s a good day to speak up for the Saviour.

After all, stars don’t take nights off from twinkling!

“Do all things without grumbling or disputing;  that you may prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life …”. (Philippians 2:14-16A)
